It does not hook up with USB, it uses Parallel port or Serial

And it consumes 100% CPU so no you can't run other programs.

and Furious how many do you have left ? i hate having to rewind my dvds the next time i play them! i could probably sell those things to someone around here.... just go to blockbuster and wait for someone preferably a blonde....

Don't buy the counter clockwise rewind version its make by Sony, buy the clockwise rewind version its make in the USA by the government to help the USA people.
