That reminds of the clock used in the show 24. They have to use the 12 hour system. Apparantly, people got confused when showing 13:00 to 24:00. Is there really people who don't know how to use a 24 hour clock system?

OMG Most of my female friends and most of my family have no clue except my Grandfather and uncles who are military.

Working in factorys for so many years I had to learn it. Not like its hard though LOL. my alarm clock is military time that way you cant screw up the whole am, pm thing. LMAO

Yes, It is not like it is hard you just got to add 12. 1pm = 13:00 (12+1), 6pm = 18:00 (12+6).

Huh? Why would you do that?

You only add 12 for 1pm to 12pm. Anything before 12pm is the same as the 12 hour clock. The highest it gets is 24:00 which is 12pm. Then it goes back to 01:00

I have always had analogue watches and think in 12 hours when reading them but I use clocks and timers in 24 hour.
