Well I am not athletic, that's my problem. I am exercising a bit now, as my parents make me exercise 3 times a week in order to get unlimited time on the computer.

At 15, there's no reason to be overweight unless you eat the crap that Western society dishes up to us as food and refuse to even exercise for 30 mins per day (which is the absolute minimum - any healthy kid would be outside running for a couple of hours a day, playing ball or something).

We've spoken about this before drf - I'm gunna ask admin to see if there's a forum hack we can put on to make our junior members (agewise) not be able to login until 7pm at night.

That'd get 'em into the park.

Or watching TV. Seriously, I exercise more now than before, I just don't play sports like the "cool" kids do. Too much of a commitment, and I suck at sports. I am not all that overweight, I am not considered obese, so it's not all bad.

I did the same thing you can't just point the finger at Mc D's though I'm sure if he would have went to Hardees,Wendys or Burger King and did the same test I am almost certain he would have got the same results.But I have to say it's not uncommon to see an overweight person in America any more it has become an epidemic I think the reason for this is because fast food has become more affordable and eating healthy is getting very expensive IMO some of the blame should be put on the food industry for marking up prices on healthy food to line their pockets the rest of the blame should go to the people for being lazy because no one is stopping you from exercising

You could see all of this in that Jamie oliver's school dinners TV series out of England. It ran on the Food Network here in Canada. I also see that they are doing an update to the series which I am very interested in knowing if it has progressed any. I am far from what you would call a health nut (believe cholesterol is a conspiracy created by some shadow government) but some of the crap these kids were eating for school dinner (WOW).
