I know this thread is about UFC but this almost makes ufc look tame...
Holy you know what that was a crazy video. Pro wrestling is insane.
as for your other post i have to call my cable company about the fight network.
I just read that at the latest WFA king of the streets event (7/22/06) that Kimo Leopold had to sit out his fight with Bas Rutten because he tested postive for performancing enhancing drugs. Is there any sport out there where people are not on the juice. But then again which supplements are illegal and vise versa. Steroids don't teach you how to do submissions. It just seems sad when a legend of MMA and the reigning UFC heavyweight champion have both tested positive at one point and time.
I just watched the rerun of WFA's king of the street. The undercard fights were OK but the co-main event's really stole the show. Bas Rutten after seven years of inactivity still looked pretty good. Warpath took the fight (with Rutten) on two days notice and was obviously unprepared, but still overmatched and outclassed none the less. Rutten's first two punches were like jackhammers and were right on the mark...I'm suprised warpath was still standing. The really impressive part came when Rutten began kicking. I've never seen such a powerful kick and it only took about 4-5 kick before Warpath couldn't continue. This was a good fight for both fighters, especially for Rutten.
The Lindland/Jackson fight was excellent as well. The decision, even though I'm more of a Jackson fan, should have gone to Lindland. Lindland dominated Jackson on the ground and kept him tied up with repeated submission attempts. There were two guillotine chokes that I'm really suprised Jackson escaped from, but that is what makes him a true competitor.

My cable company is called Access Communacations...still waiting for TFN....this fall...however it is available in eastern canada on Codgeco and Rogers as well as Starchoice ...I have heard they are getting carried in the states soon as well..And I so wanted to see St Pierre fight Matt..but PJ Penn I like as well so that is another fight to look forward to..I just see 'Rush' having more of a chance then Penn would have...

I'm thinking that UFC boss Dana White is seeing $$$$ signs,
if BJ Penn were to defeat Matt Hughes, and then that would set up a rematch of St Pierre and Penn. If St Pierre wins, then the match against Hughes. If Penn wins, then a match between St Pierre and Hughes for a chance for a rematch against Penn.
$$$$$ signs I tell ya!!!

It's all about the money Besides the cash flow it will setup a sweet series of fights.
On a sad note, I just read that Stephan Bonnar just tested positive for a banned anabolic substance. I really hate to see any blemishes on the sport. I am still quite surprised that Silvia came back so quickly from testing positive and is now holding the belt!!
