LOL that last one is funny... I feel the same way when my dad wants to take tons of pictures of my family when we are on vacation. I just say "put it in movie mode and you will have hundreds of pictures in 3 seconds". Oh well, LOL, Smiling for 5 minutes isn't fun!
@ PA - know how you feel a bit. Gone thru 1 hurricane last year and 3 the year before. Got a Tropical coming at us as we speak. Went thru the Great Flood of May 8 in Slidell, LA. Hurricane Andrew in New Orleans and the San Francisco quake in 1989. Whew, makes your brain tired of worrying about them!
@ loco, I thought that photo was a tidal wave! It's incredible!
@ Gary, I love the sunsets and fall colors, but the kid outshines all!!!

By looking by your avatar (next to Disney) I would guess that you live if FL., I see you lived in CA and LA how many states have you lived in?
And ya I would say you have seen your share of mother nature’s fury.
We have been known to have some very wild storms here too and a lot like the hurricanes however those storms rarely last for more then 3 to 5 hours at least the highest intensity of them. Then they begin to die down.
Our summer storms have been known to produce winds of over 100 - 150 mph but the rarely last for more then a few hours like that. I count imagine one lasting as long as those hurricanes do.
What about hurricane Katrina? Were you close to that one?
We got a lot of Katrina refugee’s here in WI, most of them had never been outside of LA and they were shocked on the COLD here in the winter and this last Winter was one of our most mild in years.
