File Hosting Service?

Anybody know of a free reliable one (to host permanently, so nothing like rapidshare/yousendit) with decent speeds (like 50kb/s or more)? i'd like to upload a bunch of files, probably no more than 200mb. if only gmail could be used that way who the hell needs 2.5+ GB for mail?

filefront is still pretty decent. users don't need to register to download. no waits, usually, unless a popular file comes out and the servers get hit hard.

thanks fellas, but filefactory, yousendit and rapidshare are all temporary, which is what i usually do use; but these files i'm hoping to keep permanently, so no expiry/download quotas etc

@blu, YSI USED to offer up to 1GB but it's like (30MB) now?

I use www.sendspace.com, the way it works is that it lets people download it until it reaches 1.2GB of bandwith. So if you upload a 300MB file you could download it 4 times.

FileFront is OK, but they locked my account for uploading a "copyrighted" AVI, it was just something I taped off the TV... not like an ISO or something.

Depending on how many users are going to be downloading the file, I would say use www.sendspace.com.

@blu: my ISP sucks, it's dialup, really only for light browsing. most of the time i'm using the university's net access, blazingly fast.

@blu they changed it for a while, maybe they heard my threats, erm, complaints? (nah JK but they probably got complaint letters as they made it 30MB for a while.)

@anon, how many times did you need it available for?
SendSpace never expires, but it can only be download 1.2GB (in other words, if your file is 200MB, it will reach a bandwith of 1.2GB after 6 downloads).
