The only software I know that uses a Cow as it's mascot is Ad Muncher. The best ad filtering program there is! As it removes the ads/popups, the cow icon in the tray munches. I love it! Plus it's made in my country!

I never intend to be rude or funny. By any chance that the DVD ripping or burning program you are looking for turns out to be CloneDVD which has the image of a sheep's head in stead of a cow?
