Depressing news..Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin Dead

I just heard the same thing. I think it should b private among his family and friends and allow his family a chance 2 mourn without all the media. Thats just me though. Gonna miss him.

That's hard to believe. I knew he was fearless, but considering the danger he put himself in on a regular basis, I figured he would have had a medical team as well. Looked to be a genuinely nice guy though. What was that saying? The star that burns twice as bright burns half as long. RIP

yeah i really enjoyed watching his show, and the dirty bastards here took it off the air. i gotta pay extra to get the channel now. he said himself, asked by larry king. "i never have anti-venom with me wherever i go". it was a couple year old video but i doubt he changed his ways.

The problem was control. He was always in control. But underwater, it's pretty hard to say that. I read somewhere that he said himself, that if he were to get killed by something, it would be underwater.

That is very sad news he wasnt a great guy not just in his shows with the wild animals but as an all around good guy.

There have been a lot of tv shows on his life and all of the wonderful things he has done.

Including stopping the filming of a show he was working on to rescue an american scuba diver that other wise would not have been found on time.

He didnt think twice about putting his own life at risk to save another. So when someone like that goes young its just sad.

I must say though with the kinds of animals he liked to play with its not too suprizing though. What has me the most shocked is it was a sting ray that got him. A sting ray is no where near as deadly as some of the other animals and snakes that he got up close and personal with.

I am sure that he will be missed world wide. I feel bad for his family, his kids.
