    All the Kings Men

    One of the best books Ive ever read.
    Classic on US politics.
    Have not seen newest movie with Penn yet, (remake of older movie with crawford),
    but suggest you all read book.

    Have seen the promos for it but did not know it was a remake. The promos kind of piqued my interest so I might have to give the book a shot first.

      As i recall, Broderick Crawford won an oscar for his portrayal of the politician, Wllie Stark. The fictitional Wille closely resembled Gov Huey Long of Louisiana in the 1930's. While Huey was allegedly corrupt, he also did a lot for the state. He paved more roads and built more bridges than any former Gov of his state. Almost all the old bridges there have signs saying: "Built during the administration of Gov Huey P. Long." Huey later became a US senator. He was going to run for president, but was shot and killed on the capitol steps.
      Anyhow great book. I started rereading it last night.

        I can't make a copy of All teh Kings Men

        I have the latest version of ripit4me, 1.6.6.0. I am trying to copy all the kings men using wizard mode (I have also tried in 1 clickmode as well). When I go to DVDdecryptor it hangs on VTS_02_1.vob. Here is the log. Any ideas on how I can get this dvd copied?
