    Revenge of the nerds...

There are two pieces of music that I would love to find, but don't show up in any of the credits. The first one is who the low bass singer was singing "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" on the vinyl record when the nerds try to make U.N. Jefferson and his cohort feel more comfortable at the party. It only plays for a few seconds, but I'd love to find the whole tune. It sounded like an old gospel recording featuring just piano and singer. Very deep voice.

The other was the funk lick that is playing right after U.N. Jefferson says "Hold it right there Coach," when all the Tri-Lambs show up at the pep rally.

If you know, let me know,

    thanks

I have a couple too, Peace Maker - the russian orchestra music that Dusan Gavrich (played by Marcel Iures) is playing on the piano after he finishes giving a piano lesson. I have the soundtrack but that one piece isn't on it. Just a title would be good, then I could find the piece.

No, its from the Clooney and Kidman movie, The Peace Maker
It is a very moving piece that I just fell in love with.

Have you tried turning on the closed caption sometimes they will tell you the name of the songs being played

It's not Fats Waller.....I'm pretty sure it's a man called Paul Robeson. Although the version I have been able to find is not the version from Nerds. Robeson recorded it quite a few times.

The funk riff I am pretty sure is a studio cut by session musos for the film.

Well I know that sites harbouring lyrics and guitar tablature got suspended and banned from displaying that information...I guess file sharing programs have been getting knocked down and ressurected over the years...but they are fraught with danger.
