To add to BR7's comments; I suggest hitting the "New Posts" button daily & read every thread that comes up! Even if you don't understand it, you will start to become familar with the terminology, & it will start to fall into place after awhile.

Too bad they took Call 4 Help & The Screen Savers off ZDTV here in the U.S.; I cut my "tech teeth" on those shows! Oh well, I still have Kim Komando!

I knew absolutely nothing about backing up dvds when I stumbled on to this forum. I had just bought a burner and had no clue at all. Not only have I learned how to back up dvds but I've also learned a little about a lot of different things thanks to great advice and help from the folks here.

Don't know where I'd be without this forum. Probably returning my burner because I couldn't figure out how the hill to use it!!!
