    Somebody Please Help

For nearly a week I've had serious problems with My Space. I joined either last Monday or Tuesday, I created my My Space URL name, too and every profile I visit, every time I click on Send Message, I keep getting the page asking me to verify my e-mail address with the two long icons undernealth and the first one says Request Verification E-mail and the other says Contact Customer Service. I previously clicked on the link in my e-mail to verify I joined My Space as the first e-mail and I also previously clicked on the link to verify my e-mail address and I don't know why that same page returned asking me the same. I requested another verification e-mail at the same address and when I clicked on the link in the e-mail, the same page returned after I click on Send Message in anybody's profile. I requested about another eight verification e-mails and clicked on the links in each e-mail and the annoying page still returns asking me if I want a verification e-mail or to contact Customer Services. If it's not that, when I click on Send Message in anybody's profile, I get the My Space homepage asking me to sign in and when I do I get that annoying page back asking me if I want a verification e-mail or to contact Customer Services.

If anybody has a My Space account, please check and see if you get a message box appear when you click on Send Message in anybody's profile. I don't mean send a message. As I've indicated, I don't even get a chance to write anybody a message. If anybody hasn't got a My Space account, please spare a couple of minutes and create one as a sample and try what I asked at the beginning of this paragraph. I've e-mailed My Space at two e-mail addresses and they always igonore me and I phoned them and all I get is their answer phone.

    Many thanks.

Many thanks for your help. I found out something interesting. I found out only the new members get this problem. There's a registration fault of some kind. Luckily enough I managed to find my old password to an account that I created mid last year and I can contact other members through that one. The fault for new members is still a big mystery. However, My Space are ignorant people for igonring the public when they need help and for having their answer phones on at all times. It makes me wonder if nobody is doing the e-mails and phone calls, who is running their place?

      Darren.

I think that they have far more serious issues than customer support. Like client security for the young, and lack of monitoring the chat rooms to ensure kids arent being lured by pedephiles.

OK even I don't use myspace.

Well OK I admit to making one, but not for me.

Chatrooms aren't bad, they aren't any more dangerous than real life... just as you can run away from that guy in a black car, you can close your window if someone starts asking for your info.

But yeah, myspace is stupid... having your own personal website is much more professional
