The local radio station I listen to interviewed VA Tech students this morning, I missed it. Tomorrow morning they are going to interview the shooter's inmates. Anyone want me to tape it?

I don't even know who Imus is.

But my radio's taping at home, so hopefully I'll get that clip when it airs.

Very true statement there chewy. It seems for those in neighborhoods with money get the help they need in the plublic shcools when a problem is noticed. But for those less fortunate many troubled kids slip through the cracks. Whats is more sad is I am sure we have not seen the last of this kind of insanity. It is really a matter of when and where. And God help those when the time comes.

IMHO this is a great, must see movie, it will touch your heart. I must admit it brought tears to my eyes more than once. It gives us a peak into their world. One that most of us could not imagine, and this is their daily life. In some of the background scenes you can see my work place. As a matter of fact one of the guys that I did apprenticeship with was shot just because of his nationality and that he lived in Long Beach. He's now paralyzed and for what. And get this, I use to talk to Hilary Swank. I use to work in a supermarket in Studio City, I would pick out her fruits and veggies. She's a nice person. All I can say is that we living in a changing world. Here in L.A. everywhere is so crowded and there's a line just about everywhere you go. The traffic is ridiculous, what use to be a 20 min drive can now be an hour or more. Folks are upset, you can see it in the way they drive. I know this sounds crazy, but as if you can feel the anger in the air. It's like the level of anger in people has risen as the population has grown. Oh I better stop, sorry for the rant. I guess this is how I deal with this crisis. I just can't understand why the whole campus wasn't put on lock down. One by one evacuate and search everyone after the first incident. I know it's easy to say after the fact, but hello two people were already killed, someone brought a gun on to the grounds. I'm afraid this may not be the last of these type of tragedies until we see some major changes. I mean like a shift in conscious in governments, corporations, big business and in people. Somehow we need to get back to respecting complete strangers. Courtesy, Politeness and Respect can only help the world.
