A Dutch TV station is going to have a game show where the prize is a kidney to one of the contestants from a 37 year old terminally ill woman.

Nightline, IIRC did mention that this is a an attempt to raise awareness about the need for organ donations. They could have run a special that would last as long as the game show to do that instead of making a circus out of it

The game show went aired and according to Nightline at the end of the show the host announced that it was just a hoax to raise awareness about the need for organ donors.

Well it did catch my attention
