I'm sure kids everywhere were sleeping soundly last night.

But honestly, I was pretty surprised too. I'm working at a computer camp this summer, so most of the day I don't have access to the news, etc... so when my mom told me both Farah Fawcett and Michael Jackson died yesterday, I had only heard about the first.
I guess it would have been less surprising if he were older, or had some known heart disease, etc. Guess he's the next Heath Ledger.

He was a major part of my teenage years, from all the hits, the glove and the moonwalk.

There are so many artists that are where they are today because of his influence.

He was an outstanding entertainer.

My sorrow goes to his family as well as his three children.

Yes, I agree with you burrell Michael was something special. One of a kind. I'm the same age as Michael. I remember when ABC came out I was just starting jr. high school. Back Then I was into hard rock, but in high school I started to listen to R&B. That's went I started to appreciate his talent. I only got to see him perform live once. It was the Jackson 5 reunion tour at Dodger Stadium.

I'll never forget when he starts to sing solo on the We Are The World his truly amazing unmistakable voice.

The world will miss you, rest in peace Michael.

I'm watching the funeral services for Michael on TV. The motorcade just pass near my house, I'm right off the 5 fwy. I could see the choppers.
