Ok... it's the most trivial complaint ever..

I'll agree with you if you tell me this is the most ridiculous, nit-picky complaint ever.. but it ticks me off every time.

Why is it when I go to a web site, and go to Favorites>Add To Favorites that the suggested name for the Favorite is ALWAYS something that needs editing or is so long as to be just plain stupid.

For example if you go to Pandora and make it a favorite.. the prompt is for
Pandora Radio - Listen to Free Internet Radio, Find New Music.

Look, why cant it just say Pandora... it's all I want it to see... it's all that I want to look for.

Here are some other idiotic prompts
    Fox News
Breaking News Latest News Current News - FOXNews.com
Just FOX or FOX NEWS. I can't spot that one right away (please no political jabs...it's just an example

    Here's a good one
    Ebay
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
    Just Ebay would be perfect...

Picking some common ones that come to mind, but you get the idea
    Amazon
amazon.com Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more
For crying out loud, I know what Amazon is.

Well you get the idea...btw Digital Video Forums is
Digital Video Forums - Everybody's Talkin'

Okay I can live with that (especially since they're the gracious host of this crap complaint

I agree. There should be a limit to the length. I usually replace all those long names with just the initials of the site so that I can fit more bookmarks in the bookmarks bar.

The bookmark title is always the title of the page itself. The reason why websites load the page title with lots of other keywords is to get better positions on search engines.

It's a valid complaint, because titles are getting longer and longer. This can easily be solved by introducing a new meta tag standard that determines the title of bookmarks, which can then separate it from the title of the page itself.

I use Chrome and it highlights the title of the bookmark at the time you add the bookmark to allow you to easily edit it.

IE 8 and Firefox 3.6 also highlight the title of the bookmark to allow editing before saving it
