i record to my Philips dvd1000 stand alone,
rip it with smart ripper,
convert it with dvd2avi with divx5.02,
cut out the sections i don't want with virtual dub, save it, it plays perfectly.
Then the problem starts, when i try to convert the avi to mpeg"2
the autio goes in and out of sync, so it looks ok then badly dubbed.
i have used TMPGEnc, and Power Director, both with the same result,
i tried saveing the audio and video seperately, same result
tried "a" field, no joy
i use Elecard mpeg2 player and this displays exactly the same as the test burns (in and out of sync)
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
