23 fps XVid playing to fast when converted to DVD

Hi guys.
I'm trying to convert Bourne Identity to NTSC DVD using TMPGEnc and everything is working out well, but when I try to play it on PowerDVD, both as .vob from the harddrive and from DVD the movie plays to fast!!
The XVid is in 23 fps, and I'm guessing this is the problem, as other XVid movies at 29 fps are working as a charm after converting them...

Anyone know what setting to check/uncheck to get rid of this problem?

you might want to take a look at vcdhelp.com

been there...it seems to be some problem when i use PCM audio, but when i use mpeg audio layer I or II, the audio is WAY out of sync...
Any onther program I could use excpet for TMPGenc?

You're probably using the TMPGEnc DVD "wizard"/template. Under the "Video" tab, change the FPS to 23.976...

I believe you are required to perform 3:2 pulldown (or is it called Telecinining?). This will increase the framerate to an NTSC-conforming 29.97fps, by adding duplicate frames.
