Menu Button action changes using IFOEDIT??

    Greetings all,

I have a dilema. I have a dvd I'm building using ReelDVD3, and a limitation of that application is that the Menu Button call is only to a single destination as specified through the program.

I would like to change that so that the default Menu Btn action is overridden for specific actions and directs the user to a different menu.

For example, I am playing a movie and when I hit the Menu Btn, it takes me to the movie's main menu. I then navigate to the Chapter Menu where I select a scene of that movie. While the scene is playing, I hit the Menu Btn, which returns me to the menu I just came from, the Chapter Menu, and not the main menu.

How can this be accomplished using IFOEDIT?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Have you considered using either TMPGEnc DVD Author or DVDLab for your final authoring?

(TMPGEnc DVD Author [different than TMPGEnc], in particular, can EASILY create the menu construct you've described)

Well it can be done - you need an advanced knowledge of the prgramming structure to do it though.

There doesn't seem to be a comprehensive guide to command programming oin the web yet but you can look here:
      Lord of the Discs
and also do some searching on:
Forum.Doom9 especially the 2COOL and maa guides
