I've been trying to convert a movie a friend gave me thats on a SVCD in 480 x 480 aspect ratio to dvd. I'm using Ulead Movefactory and Ulead Video Studio to do so at the moment. the 480 x 480 on the SVCD looks widescreen. The software I'm using won't let me set a custom aspect ratio, nor does it have an option to leave the aspect ratio as it is. I don't know much about aspect ratio, I just want if at all possible to leave it alone and not stretch the picture any or loose picture by converting it to 4:3. Heres a list of resolutions my software will allow me to transcode the video to: 720 x 480, 704 x 480, 352 x 480, 352 x 240. Which of these settings would work best? Any assistance here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
