    Parental Management Specifics

    Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find any advanced information on parental management? I don't mean the basic stuff...I know how the differnt levels work and how discs handle parental management in the menus, etc. I'm looking more for the technical details, such as how the parental masks work in the VMG_PTL_MAIT and VTSM_LU IFO tables.

OK, there were extended discussion on the doom9 forum about that, in the context of PgcEdit. See this.

MenuShrink can shrink your menus to 5-10% of their original size.

Thanks jeanl, that does shed some light on the subject. I still wish I could find some more info on how specifically the masks work in the VMG_PTL_MAIT and VTSM_LU IFO tables and not just how to disable the parental management. Thanks again for the link.

You can alway post your questions at doom9 in the forum that I pointed you to. There's plenty of very knowledgeable people there (I'm not one of them, at least not on that subject!).

Thanks Jeanl, I will do that. I just registered with doom9 but since they have a 5-day waiting period before you can post, I have to wait.
