DVD Backups and Denon 1600?

Getting ready to buy Denon 1600 but not sure if my DVD movies (backups) will play on it. I burn my backups with Toshiba 5002 on 2x discs. Can anyone tell me if they will play on the Denon Progressive scan 1600. I can not find the Denon locally to try a few on, so I need to rely on this group for advice.
