    Need non-jargon answer, newb question

Hello, I need some help. I want to make backups of many of my DVDs ,and I recently purchased "DVDx Copy" only to find that it takes two dvd rewritables to hold the whole movie. Could I please get some help to write a full movie dvd to ONE dvd rewritable. Could you guys please explain to me what I need to do and what I need to use... and please no jargon.. it may seem easy for you, but I do not understand what you are saying AT ALL!

-Sorry if this has been stated in other topics, but I really have no idea what to do

Download DVD Shrink and look at the guides.

Download 'Shrink as stated above and then download DVDDecrypter v. 3.1.9.0 and IMG Classic v. 0.91.1.

There are many easy to understand 'decrypter guides and IMG Classic has an easy to understand guide (no jargon) included in download (which you can refer to at any time) Go to Coujo.de's site for Classic download.

You may also need to download an aspi layer (free and available @ Adaptec for your O.S. and the free download beta file extractor from winzip.com (to extract the aspi layer)) and also do a search for "force aspi" and download that. If you have XP, you can use SPTI (included in XP) though slightly better results are had with Adaptec's aspi layer v. 4.71.2.

I have DVDXCopy Gold (includes XPress) and burn results are better with DVDDecrypter doing the burning. You can also rip a D-5 (in Iso mode) with'decrypter and then burn with 'decrypter.

A very easy to understand guide is available @ dvdshrink.info (by ddlooping). ddlooping's guides are aimed @ the persons whom wants to understand how to make good quality back-ups simply and easily and he isn't about impressing anybody with his technical knowledge (of which he has an abundance). @ another site (if I remember correctly) ddlooping posted a wink guide link and some of the forum responded as if he were a fool.

Not being nosey, but rather trying to understand, I went to the linked site and found a very easy to understand tutorial which solved any real misunderstandings about 'Shrink. What I found @ the site was that ddlooping had explained in several Wink pages how to correctly use 'Shrink, whereas, that forum which had insulted the man for doing a good deed was still in the dark as to how to correctly use shrink. After viewing the tutorial, I understood the forum was jealous that ddlooping understood and they didn't understand and chose to insult rather than give the man his "prop's".
