    how can you copy dvd+r to work in a stand alone player?

    hi i copyed a dvd with my burner but it wont let me play it in
    one of my dvds. my burner is a philps dvd+rw dvd 8601
    it says bad disc on one of my dvds but the other one works fine.
    is there a format i can use to play them on both ? thanks

    If you can set booktype DVD+R to DVD-ROM that will do it.
    Don't know if that drive supports booktype setting.You will have to do a search.

      What works well on one player may not work on others. A lot of poster here like the Ridata G04 (-) format for just about everytype of player around the world. You could give that a try also.
