How do I burn an already burned movie?

    Hello...

I use DVDXCOPY for my DVD back ups.

I am trying to make a copy of a movie that is already a copy (DVD+R). When I back up a movie, I simply put in the movie and it works fine. But since I am trying to make a copy of a DVD+R, DVDXCOPY says please enter DVD into the drive, when it is already in there!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

DVDXCopy INTENTIONALLY prevents you from copying a copy that was created by DVDXCopy, by adding a bit of code to the copy.

The response from "video" is appropriate.

In the future, you should use DVD Shrink to copy those commercial DVDs that you own...

(By the way, why don't you want to use NERO?)

well I just thought there would be a way to copy it using dvd x copy.

I do have nero 6... is there a way to copy a movie copied previosly using dvdxcopy using nero 6?

          thanks in advance

            Nevermind... figured it out myself.

Your statement about not being able to copy a copy made by DVDXCOPY is inaccurate.

Thanks for everyone's help, as always

Well, there has to be some left out, it is a store bought or retail software you're talkin about there. It is of course also not aloud to make a copy of a copy. Also, it was never ment to be in stone about NOT being able to do it I'm sure. Or getting the directions for the procedure and what files need to be changed or removed in the dvdxcopy software.

              Good day to ya.
