DVDShrink and Re-Authoring

Hello peoples. I an new to this forum and was wondering if I could get some help. I have attempted to re-author a dvd so that the movie itself would need less compression. I attempted to keep the main menus and ditch everything else. While keeping the menus I wanted to make them still so that the intro animations to GET to the menu would be removed. But somehow I was unpleasantly shown the EXTRAS menu first and couldn't get past it. Is there an easy way to re-author a dvd so that it works correctly without trial and error and wasting dvd's?

If you re-author you can forget the menues - the menues will only work in full mode. There are some other tools you can use if you want to have a menu. See the stickys in this forum: http://forum.digital-digest.com/foru...?s=&forumid=47
