DVD burning sound issue plz help!

i burn dvd-r's all the time and for some reason after a fast forward for approx. 15 minutes and press play, there is no sound. before around the 15 minute mark however there is sound. i have used 3 different brands of dvd to only have the same effect. is there a problem with my dvd player (KOSS KS3120-2)? my dvd writer (Sony DRu-710A 16x double layer)?

Sounds like a combination of the media that was used and the DVD player.

What kind of media are you using when you experience these problems?

i dont understand your question. are you referring to .wmv or like .avi? if so the majority of the files are mainly .avi. i use Nero vision express 2 to burn them.

After converting your .AVI to DVD compliant files play them on your s/w DVD player (PowerDVD, WinDVD) and check for discrepancies....

I'm sure the problem was there even before you burned it to disc.
