    Re-authoring

Hi everyone. First off, I'd like to say that I've learned a lot from these boards and appreciate all the knowledge here.

What I'd like to know is if anyone knows a website that has instructions on how to re-author using DVDecrypter and DVDShrink.

I've been using DVDShrink to copy all my movies but on some that have large extra features, due to the extra shrinking the picture quality has suffered. So I'd like to learn how to get rid of some of the trailers and ads before the movies.

    Thanks!

InvalidUserID, this tutorial is using DVD Shrink 3.2 . You cannot "Re-author" a DVD with DVD Decrypter. In some cases, DVD Decrypter is not needed at all. You can simply "Re-author" the movie using only DVD Shrink. Some DVD's you will need to rip first with DVD Decrypter. Then open up the files in DVD Shrink. - http://forum.digital-digest.com/show...threadid=46607

Have you considered using the "Still Image" feature on your extra's to help you retain quality... This would be done in "Full Disc" mode.
