Nero Express 6.0 - Should I update?

I have Nero Express 6.3.1.2.5 I only use it to copy DVD's. I also use Shrink and DVD4free.

Is there any good reason that I should update Nero 6.3.1.25 to some other version and if so what version would that be?

Nero has a free update to its latest version 6.6.0.8 on its website. It is useful to update it - particularly versions earlier than yours were quite buggy.

However, if your burning solution is working for you, there would be no need to change anything.

You may also consider burning with the free product DVD Decrypter (which also rips protected movies). You can do this from DVD Shrink by Backup --> Select backup target --> ISO image file and burn with DVD Decrypter

If that version works then stay with it.

Every version of Nero has worked 100% for me. I always update just because I would be still be on Nero 5.5.
