I don't have NERO Burning ROM. Will using NERO StartSmart work? How does the copy-of-copy turn...viewing-wise? We are going on a trip and in order to keep my daughter quite we take movies, but I don't want to take the backup copy b/c she will just destroy it in the car so we want to make a duplicate of all her faves without going through the long process of re-burning them. Thanks for your help.
I click on Start smart
select copy and backup
select copy dvd
make sure selection is for nero express, not nero rom(Nero express is simpler)
then burn copy of a copy
PS i use nero 6
Are you sure you don't have burning ROM? Well if you are going to use StarSmart, when you launch it, check applications on the left hand side for Nero Burning ROM.
StartSmart/ top of the screen click DVD/click the star\favorites/click copy dvd. It will copy the image first & then ask you to insert a blank to burn to, so you are going to be spending more time.
Edit: I knew I should have taken the advance class in typing, instead of Joe's Autobody & typing tutorial.
Although you can do this with Nero as this guide illustrates, I highly recommend using DVD Decrypter to make a copy of a copy. Here is the guide I made for that: http://www.digital-digest.com/articl...opy_page1.html
Edit: You could even make ISO files of each DVD, then open up ImgBurn and load them all in the queue and burn them consecutively one after the other in ImgBurn.
I use Nero StartSmart/Back up/ Copy DVD it has worked flawlessly for me.When I use CD-DVD Speed and do a quality scan I get score any where from 95-99 when I put it on Taiyo Yuden blank media
i use shrink to copy to HD>manually boin with nero
for cd-r i don't use fart-start, i use image recorder in nero express, create .nrg image on HD, burn image with nero. nice to have options with these things though!
