I've been using GKnot to try to encode my current movie, which is a Disney cartoon... the source is interlaced NTSC format so I was going to perform IVTC with TMPGenc, but there doesn't seem to be any provision for opening a TMPGenc project in Gknot.
The resulting movie (if i don't perform IVTC, and just use a DVD2AVI project created by not using 'forced FILM') is terrible quality and is not smooth, there are lines you can see in the finished product (apparently this is what interlacing does??)
How do i encode this problematic movie? any suggestions?
