How do you take out the music and keep the sound effects in an audio file?

Here's the deal. I have this video that I want to extract the audio from but not include the music. Is this possible on DVD?

It cannot be done unless the music and the audio is on seperate tracks and that is not done. So it is not possible. Sorry
