How to capture Deinterlacing ? vDUB ??

    Hello, Friends,

I'm using VirtualDub for capturing with my Ge-Force 4 TI-4400. The results are almost satisfactoring, UNLESS the interlace artifacts. I tried to apply the de-interlace filter that comes with VirtualDub during capture and it doesn't work, the final AVI, DivX 9I capture to DivX using DivX5.02 codec PRO), the final DivX is interlaced, the filters doesn't work, why ???
In Codec DivX there's a little de-interlace box, which de-interlace, but it seem too strong and the image affects a lot...
Is there something more interesting to use ? I tried even that Area de-interlace in Vdub, but the problem seems that vDub don't apply De-interlace WHILE capture is it true ??

    Thanks in advance ,

    Yes...

If you have plenty of hard drive space, try capturing with a lossless codec (e.g. HuffyUV). You can then load this large .AVI into VirtualDub and both apply a deinterlace filter and compress with a DivX codec...
