    a/v desynch and probs with terabits avi info

    I did an encode of an mpg to divx and the a/v was desynched. I figured it was a problem with a difference in the length of the video and audio and was right. THe mpg is 44:18 and the audio is only 44:05. I downloaded terabits avi info 1.2a, but when i installed it, it wouldn't work. When i right click on the avi, avi info doesn't show up as one of the options. I'm running windows 98 se, so should have no probs.

    Anyone else have this prob? or know how to fix it?

    Try AVSync...

    If that doesn't rectify the problem:

    Load the file into VirtualDub
    Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy"
    From the "Video" dropdown menu, click on "Framerate"
    Select "Change so video and audio durations match"
    Save with a new filename

    Let us know of your success ;>}

      That fixed the synch problem. THanks.

      But any clue what's wrong with the terabit avi info?
