Trying to convert DivX.AVI video I downloaded.

I've been searching for a way to convert the movie I just downloaded and have been looking in the DivX files but haven't hit the right software to convert this to MPEG. Does anyone have a suggestion?

TMPGenc will accomplish this task. Check out DivX-Digest.com and vcdhelp.com for info on converting the files.
