Help Me Wit Divfix

Hi i recently downloaded LOTR two towers off kazaa and when i went 2 play it, there was no sound! on the description it told me 2 do something with divfix and then it would work. no such luck. I was wondering if anyone knew what to do or knows of a program 2 help me

how do u mean there was no sound?

Does it have the audio track?

open it in Virtualdub, goto file > file information and post everything it says up here, a screenshot would be good

we need to know more info about the file itself, sometimes there can be no sound because the audio is never downsampled to 48000Hz (lazy bunch of ) and so some soundcards won't play the audio because they can't handle it.

If you search these forums for similar postings about this specific movie, I believe you'll discover that this (illegal) file contains an .AC3 audiostream - for which you have to download and install an .AC3 codec/filter...
