Many times, the opening studio credits are interlaced, while the movie itself is progressive. Using Flask, load the video, open the player and start playing the video. Move the slider past the opening studio credits and see if the information changes to "Progressive"...

Well i wouldn't go claiming victory for GK just yet. I choose Forced FILM because I took the advice of setarip. But now i have another issue. Seems that the opening scenes of the movies with the credits is repeating each scnece 3 times. WELCOME-WELCOME-WELCOME TO-TO-TO......u get the point. What is the deal here. Instead I opted for yet another setarips previous ideas in another post.....i used 3ivX w/Flask till i can hash this out. Any ideas? Thanx for da help

Looks like a multi-angle movie to me. You will need to re-rip the movie, this time ripping ONLY one specific angle. Alternatively, Flask should be able to process only one angle of a given set of VOB files.
