DivX, can i change the dpi??

Well i burned a copy of the up in smoke tour and everything went well cept for this, u know when ur watching sumthing like satilite tv or digital and u get those funny little boxes on the screen or on a pc when ur watching a video of launch, is there a way to get rid of those and make the picture sharpper and more clear?? also the black line at the bottom is way bigger than the one at the top as to there isnt one on top, know of any ways to ditch the black line to most widscreen dvd's or divX's?? any help would be greatly aprecieated thanx
