Hi,
I have encoded a lot of movies with AC3 5.1 sound and play them using the AC3 filter (version 0.68b at the moment) through my Sony Surround Receiver and 5.1 B&W speakers.
However when playing a stereo DivX movie, the Frauenhofer MP3 codec is used and my Audigy upmixes the 2 channel sound to my front and rear left and right speakers (in fact that would be 4.0 surround).
What I would like to know if there is a filter available that will upmix/convert a 2 channel input to 5.1 channels.
