divx with mp3 audio

ne1 know how to fix the audio speed up prob with mp3 audio for divx videos, aprt from the suggested frame rate adjustment in VDubs help ?

is there another compression with similar size/ quality to mp3 audio (@24kb 22050hz) that i can use that will not give me audio/video out of synch probs?

Anything less than 32Kbps (actually 44.1Kbps) makes for the great possibility of losing synchronization...
