    Nandub Error

When I try to encode some VOB files to DivX using Gordian Knot, an error comes up saying it can't find a YV12 decompressor. Anybody have an answer?

that shouldn't be a problem, because it is out of the way.

download the YV12 decompressor and see what happens

I think YV12 is needed by GK because of the use of AviSynth 2.5x and the mpeg2dec3.dll
YV12 codecs should be a part of your video card driver...

Just uninstall the drivers and software for the card and re-install everything *USING* The setup from the CD of the capture card/graphics card.

I did exactly what you said, it's still coming up with the same error. Maybe my video card doesn't have YV12 codecs . I'm using a GeForce 3 Ti 200 video card.

YV12 is the name of a color space which is commonly used by MPEG-4 codecs.

Try installing the DivX v.3.11alpha codec - and see if your problem disappears...
