Hello,
I have been successfully converting DVDs to DivX for some time now but have noticed that on some occasions a few of my conversions have a problem. There seems to be a negative image (or contour of an application window) on a few seconds of the film randomly placed. I have included two examples from films at the following URL:
When I check the ripped VOBs with a DVD player, there is no problem and when I reconvert, this doesn't happen again (at least not in the same spot).
My question is does anyone know what's causing this?
For information, I am using DivX 4.12, SmartRipper 2.36 (which I find works better than 2.40), FlaskMPEG 0.6 and Windows2000 Professional with SP2. My Hardware is an Athlon1200 with an A7V133 Via-Chip Mobo and 512 MB RAM.
