Hi-
When I tried to rip 'The Godfather' DVD, I had problems any time the Sicilians were speaking Italian. The english subtitles being displyed would cause the video to stutter (does this have anything to do with interleaving a 'subtitle' layer in with the video layer?) but the audio track was unaffected. When the Italian-speak ended, the DivX file would play back just fine -audio and video in sync. Only in those parts of the movie with the subtitles were there any problems.
I'm using XMpeg 4.2a and divx 3.11 (for the fraunhofer audio codec), but then installed 4.11 over top. I have a P3-750 with 448Mb RAM on a BX chipset motherboard.
Any suggestions?
