    DVX error

I used to get great results using DVX, without any problems at all. I buried a HDD in the mean time and I had to download again the Syspack and DVX – I might have different versions this time, though.

I get the following message in a window named “Preview” after DVD2AVI finishes its job: “Script error: there is no function named MPEG2Source. D:\harry potter\vts_01_1_Source_Preview.avs, line 1”
From this point on, When I hit the Crop or Preview button I get the same message.
I mention that “harry potter” is the target folder.

I followed UncasMs’s guide, including the installation order.

    Please, anyone…

an easy but sometimes very effective step could be re-installing the syspack

    did you do so already?

and try the latest DVX version 3.52b

I already tried to reinstall the syspack, but I followed your suggestion and downloaded the latest version of DVX.
It is just a small WinRar archive and has no installation process. Is that ok? It starts, but now I get other errors, concerning Avisynth.
When I opened a d2v file, I got the message: Mpeg2Dec3.dll couldn't be located in the AviSynth plugin directory. Please install the latest SysPack.

      Which one is that?

it is fine, that 3.52b is that small - overwrite your old files

latest syspack can be found on sourceforge, i'm not sure what the version is
