Mpeg and wav from dvd, simple? nope.
A simple question, but the answer I cannot get yet: I wish to extract the mpeg2 and the wav audio files from a dvd. I successfully got the mpeg2 file but the audio was just a loud mess, which prog. can do this simple task, am i doing it wrong?

U can use Smartripper to rip the *.VOB files from the DVD
which they include the sound also

Are you sure that your DVD contains WAV-audio? Most DVDs use AC3-sound. If you want the sound as an WAV-file you have to use ac3dec or DVD2AVI or... to convert it.don't trust in guidesComment
