    File Size mistery

I'm using Xmpeg and 4.12 codec and I have big problem of precise determination for encoded file size. Any suggestion because in case of 2-pass encoding bitrate calculator are useless?

Some details please divx settings, audio settings, expected filesize and output filesize, resulution.

With extremly low or high bitrates the codec will ignore bitrate settings, and rely on Max/Min Quantizers. For 2-pass encoding Max/Min Quantizers should be 12/2.

I usually get within 10-20 MB of the desired filesize with 2 CD rips.
Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

If u want very good quality though no matter what, use 8/2 (That's what I use, but I am a quality freak )
