use divx's or gk's noise and deinterlace filters?

for noise filter and deinterlace filter, is it better to use the internal ones provided with divx511 codec or the external ones provided by gk0287?
if use the codec's ones, is it better to use them on all passes or just the last pass?
according the divx codec's documentation, the internal filters seem to have a speed advantage. do gk's filters provide better quality?

gk does NOT have/provide filter

we're talking about avisynth- or vd-filter and i consider them much better than the internal codec ones

tomsmocomb or smartdeinterlacer for example are excellent

for deinterlace: how is the speed/quality tradeoff between TomsMoComp(1,5,1) and TomsMoComp(1,15,1)?

for noisy film-transferred dvd source (say, a noisy and discolored movie, but not anime, from the 70's): Convolution3d("animelq") or Convolution3d("movielq")?

also, how is the speed/quality tradeoff for putting noise filter before resizing?
