Virtualdub 1.4.8 file size big!

Hi there,

I got vd 1.4.8 and file size is big when saving in DIVX!

from a 15.3MB file to a 30MB file using the same settings!

Any ideas?

Could you explain, in more detail, what you mean - and what you are trying to accomplish?

OK sorry

I load in an avi file DIVX.

I use the same settings (not direct stream copy) DIVX fast and then save the avi file

It goes from 15 MB to 30MB

I can only tell you that this doesn't happen with v.1.4D (I just tested one).

Are you CERTAIN that BOTH "Video" and "Audio" were set to "Direct Stream Copying"? If so, I'd suggest that you email a bug report to the author...

I was using 1.4.8!

I was cropping

I had loaded the avi file

set it to direct stream copy (both a/v)
