    Terrible DVD Decrypter/DVD2AVI artifacts

Can anyone give me some advice ? I am using DVD decrypter and DVD2AVI to get the VOB and WAV files onto my hard drive for processing. Most of my region 2 DVDs work OK and I can convert all the way to an AVI file with no problems. But some of my DVDs like Love Actually have such terrible artifacts that they are totally unwatchable. example from DVD2AVI attached. Is this a problem with my DVD decrypter or DVD2AVI ? Other DVDs like kill bill the main film works OK but the trailer is unwatchable. I have searched FAQs and boards and not come across anybody advice on this problem.
    Cheers,
    Dave.

ok ur video is interlaced, but main prob is i think ur videoe having ghosts, cause i never had ghosts inmy encoding so cant be sure only thing happen with me if i use wrong field order in capturing from dv.

for u try filters for de-interlacing and ghosts too.

u may also try dr divx to findout if ur having same problems there too. or if u want full control use virtualdub mod different then virtualdub, open ur vob file and encode if u get interlacing or ghosts u can use filters then.

u may ask the procedure for virtualdub mode if u fail to doit urself. dr divx is self explainatory.
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

      To DaveWannaSwap:

In addition to what atifsh stated, if you use VirtualDubMod to process an "Entire" DVD, make sure that you merge all the VOB files into 1 large VOB. (Skip the one that starts with VTS_XX_00)
