avi opening credit sequence

I'd like to add a simple opening Title Credit sequence (made by\ with thanks to\ maybe a bouncing logo etc) to my Avi. what other tools are people using to make the credits? I'd rather not use Adobe Prem for creating Credits for small clips.

So, any small apps for this type of work?
